“Stopped by the restaurant on our way by. My partner had the t-bone steak and I had the sizzling combo. To put it politely both meals were mouthwatering and perfectly cooked. The salt and chilli fries are to die for and the champ we ordered as an extra side was also perfect and had no lumps and lots and lots of spring onions. The peppercorn sauce for both dishes was also bang tasty. Many thanks to the staff and the chef for what was an excellent experience”

“We spent one night at the Imperal Hotel at Easter. The staff we all very friendly. However, table service was a little slow. We had a meal while we were there. The food was of a very high standard. Normally, I am let down by the sweet menue, but it was amazing. All the food was freshly made and tasted great. The room that we stayed in was clean and looked fantastic. The hotel had a makeover three years ago, all the public areas have clean chrisp lines and it looked very nice. Our room was a little cold because it was at the top of the hotel. A heater was provided that sorted this out and there was no problem with heating. The bed was very comfortable. There was also a jacuzzi bath that was out of this world. My only issue had nothing to do with the hotel. I feel really bad mentioning it. We had to listen to the sound of boy racers raving engines and their vehicles loud exhausts as they raced along the street well into the early hours of the morning. That night, there was an Easter service at a local church. The boy racers raved their car engines loudly with no respect for the people worshiping there, the people staying in the hotel or residents. We even heard one car ripping down the street at 4am in the morning. If it was me, the hotel, local residents and church should not stand for this. They make a complaint to the police and insist they do something about the problem. My wife and I loved our stay away, we loved the hotel, their staff and the food I would totally return to stay at the Imperal Hotel. The only issue was outside the control of the Hotel. Perhaps it was because it was Easter, but the police need to address the problem of young people raving their vehicle engines and speeding along the main stree outside the hotel. But for the noise of the boy racers, I would have given the hotel five stars.”

“Just wanted to compliment The Imperial on the very professional server on duty in the bar /restaurant yesterday lunchtime14/01/26 I was there for lunch with my elderly mother and we were treated with quiet, efficient professionalism which was pitched perfectly throughout. I also noticed how busy she kept herself cleaning and tidying the bar and brushing the entrance area. A strong asset for the Hotel who made our visit relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you.”

“We travelled over from Manchester to stay here for a few days whilst we attended the Causeway tattoo convention. The hotel is great and our room was lovely, comfy beds with everything you need. We’ve eaten a few meals from the menu, they have a great selection. The staff have all been so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ve had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again!”
